Life is hectic. I know that if I don’t have a list – actually many lists – of what I need to accomplish in a day, week, month, or even by the same time next year, well, I’m sunk. Prioritizing and setting goals helps me to stay focused and realize my true potential. Experts say that if you write a goal down, you’ll accomplish it, because that simple effort makes you more accountable. The converse happens if ink doesn’t hit the paper. Spend time writing down your goals and make sure they’re realistic. Try to identify key traits that are unique to your business – things that only you can provide and determine how you can leverage those to increase your uniqueness in the market. On paper, you may shockingly realize that you’re not that special — or maybe you are. From there, adjust your goals as you need to, for the best outcomes.
