Has Twitter gone too far?

It appears Ashton and Demi might think so. Two of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities including Ashton Kutcher who virtually made Twitter a Hollywood star in its own right thanks to his two million followers, just might be cooling down on the tweets for a bit. It appears that Twitter has gone into partnership with two other companies to develop an unscripted series about the micro-blogging site, according to AccessHollywood.com. Yet one more reality show that potentially could create fan-oriented paparazzi online. At what point do we take the technologies of today and use them for business and when do we allow these technologies to be part of our daily fun? I do believe that following thought leaders to enrich your personal or professional knowledge is important. Knowing when a celebrity walks her dog is another thing however. There is no question that our lives are consumed with technology that keeps us hyper-connected and bombarded with all sorts of information constantly. But when it delves uninvited into the lives of others – celebrity or otherwise – I would argue that we’re on the verge of abusing the power of technology.
